Galaxy MNoticed small pink dots on the side of my six months old M21 yesterday evening. Within less than 12 hours, the pink dots expanded to cover almost quarter of my mobile. There is no physical damage, in fact I've been using a screen guard and a thick back cover from day one. What else can one do to protect the device ?
I went to a nearby authorized service center (Marina Mall,Chennai,India) , the guy there didn't even flinch. He said, "This is not covered in warranty". He won't talk anything further, he was very quiet when I asked him to show me any evidence of physical damage.
Apparently, it could be repaired at a cost ,which is almost half the actual price of the product. Really? The onus is on the consumer for a poorly manufactured product? Why would I pay more money when there is no guarantee that it will last more than half a year? Anyone had any luck in getting this repaired with warranty?
Clearly, Samsung is aware of this prevalent issue and has an SOP in place for dealing with visitors to the service center. This is pretty evident from the number of posts about expanding pink spots on this forum.

Galaxy MI may sound like a conspiracy nut. But it is not hard to imagine such useful discussions being sanitized by not so well meaning dwellers of the kickback land

Galaxy MPlease don't lecture me on the quality of the M21 product when I have seen it first hand. I have empirical proof that it is of inferior quality.
I have a 4+ year old Nexus 5x and 6 months old Samsung M21.I use them almost the same way, sparingly . If M21 can't take the pressure of my pockets and charging station, surely I have every right to it question it's quality?
