M31 hanging and restarting problem.

I bought my Galaxy M31 on 26th May. For a month it was working fine. The keyboard was freezing quite a bit. But since the last month my phone has started hanging 2-4 times a day and then restarting even when I am just clicking pictures or texting in whatsapp. Once it hanged so much in a day that my phone went to watchdog restart mode automatically. There is over 60% space empty in my phone. I don't play heavy games. The problem persists in safe mode as well. Today it hanged 7 times consecutively. Samsung hasn't helped at all as of now. I have sent log reports numerous times. Sometimes after it hangs and restarts it restarts again and sometimes it doesn't even restarts. Please suggest something.

you have to take some risk to get it fixed as i would strongly recommend you to go to nearest service centre before this problem becomes more worse✌

i request to all m series user raise ur voice for carrier aggregation LTE+, recently i just compair a50s with m30s network speed with airtel both phone having same 9611 chipset but a50s internet download speed 40% more than m30s just because CA lte+ Added

Please perform the below mentioned quick step to resolve the hanging issue:-


- Reset the device:- Kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
Tap on Settings>Tap on General Management>Tap on Reset.


To resolve restart issue kindly turn off the Auto Restart option in you device by using the path:- Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Turn off auto start.


After performing above steps If the issue still persist kindly send us the screenshot, videos and error log file with in 15 minutes of issue occurrence through error report section from Samsung Member Application :- Samsung Member Application > click on get help > send feedback > error report, so that we can help you out to solve the issue.

Restart Problem is Found across several Samsung devices irrespective of A, M and S Series ! 


It's because of Firmware Problem from Past firmware  Updates from Samsung ! Wait for Proper Bug Solving Update from Samsung !


Till Then Follow Below Steps 

1) Turn ON Reduce Animation Option 

2) Uninstall/Disable Unwanted Apps ( Briefing, S Internet, Google Play Music, Google TV and Movies, One Drive, SmartThings, Wearables, Unused Good Lock Modules ....) 

3) Disable Game Launcher 

4) Turn off Auto Brightness 

5) Use Google Apps in Default Factory Versions

6) Clear Memory in Device Care twice an hour

7) Disable Auto Sync (Turn On When Needed)

😎 Use Device in Medium Power Saving Mode 

9) Mobile Data and Battery Restrictions for all apps by Click App Info ( Long Press An App) (MUST)

10) Put All Apps In Sleeping Mode

11) Clear Recent Apps


Just Make Sure that don't rush More apps while Using Mobile !

I even factory reseted it. But even that didn't solve it

What you said is exactly correct. samsung has released a buggy update and it is costing the customers and if the customer is within warranty he is safe but for customer whos warranty just expired is the people who are affected.

But samsung is not accepting officially and acknowledging the issue rather putting the customer burden by asking the service center to chang the mother board which cost 9000+

all these steps went 8n vain... and as per the samsung customer care... how can we save the screenshot and logs when the phone hangs???
