Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

We regret to hear about your experience with our product. Please believe that this is not a usual occurrence.

Please perform the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps, these may help in resolving your concern.

1. Restart the device: Press and hold the Power button until the menu pops.
Tap the Restart button and wait for the device to power off and on again.

2. Clear data from the Play Store: Settings> Apps> Google Play Store> Storage> Clear Data and tap Delete to confirm.

3. Reset the download Manager:
Step 1: Navigate to the app's screen and tap on Settings.
Step 2: Tap on Apps.
Step 3: Select the 3 dot menu button on the top right-hand side and tap Show System Apps.
Step 4: Scroll down and select Download Manager. Check that the app is enabled (we want the option to show as Disable ).
Step 4: Select Force Stop to shut down just this app. This won't affect any information on the device. Select Force stops on the prompt to confirm.
Note: Kindly confirm that all permissions of Google Play (Play Store) should be enabled.

4. Check Date & Time Settings: Settings> General Management> Date and Time> Make sure Automatic date and time are switched on (toggled to the right & blue).

5. Check available storage space: Settings> Device Maintenance> Storage at the bottom of the screen>Check the available storage. (If your device has less than 20% of storage available, you will need to free up some space.).

6. Remove and re-configure Google Account: Settings>Cloud and Account.> Accounts>Google Account>Remove Account> Remove Account> Add Account> Google> Google Account.> Enter your Google Account password and tap on Next.> Agree.
Note: Depending on the operating system this option may be under a 3-dot menu button on the top right-hand side of the screen.

7. Enable All Related Apps: Settings> Apps> the top right 3 dot menu button and then tap on Show System Apps> Disabled apps from the dropdown> Ensure there are no apps related to Google Play Services or Download Manager in the Disabled apps list.

In case the issue still occurs, please visit the service center for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/
