Google maps update pending

Need help in updating the google maps on my samsung galaxy m51, i had enabled auto update so it started to update on its own but its not even downloading.  Just showing pending download, if i had to stop the update process the play store is not responding and i have to close the app..again if i open the playstore the same download process is running..im unable to update other apps as well

Heres the screeshot..please give suggestions 

I used wifi high speed and other mobile carriers 4g and i switched off and restart my phone yet the problem persisted..

I even went and cleared the data and cache of app in settings still its not solved..

Any suggestions please
