Recently updated an OTA update on 2 Galaxy A30S devices. 1 brand new and the other fresh from an lcd replacement. At 1st i questioned the repair centre for doing a poor job at repairing the devices. Both devices had the same error when trying to add fingerprints. After researching the problem it came accross that it could only be resolved by flash odin. The only choice was to return the device and the 2nd. To my amazement a simple factory reset managed to fix the issue.

If same is experienced, perform a factory reset before going to the extreme.

Thank you

hi, mostly after a repair, a service centre will run a software update and that update will calibrate the device, thus causing an error on other features on the device. FOTA updates are not recommended as they may be flawed by the internet connection during the update thus giving you an error, its great that the reset fixed the issue as it cleared all errors
