I had upgraded my phone a50 to android q.Since then phone randomly shuts down reporting high temperature. Once off, it only gets on after 7 8 hrs ,  and  that too for hardly 2-3 mins.

It is also unable to charge itself , showing a red icon of high temp On charging. Also when i touched the phone, there are no signs of overheating so it must be issue with the sensor after updating. Please let me know the solution

I have already tried factory resetting but no improvement

Might be due to damaged software. Take your device to the nearest service center.
