Hello

My a40 was running fine than the update to Android 11 came and it messed it up..

Netflix and prime were freezing and crashing. I already disabled HD playback on prime and now it works fine, but Netflix is still crashing. I already reinstalled the app and it didnt help :(

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Kind regards

You mean you installed back Android 11 and now Netflix works fine? Did they make any updates on Android 11 or Netflix app? Thx.

I also had the same problem. After Android version 11, I have the same issue with the streaming apps.  Audio and subtitles are playing but no VIDEO.  Also netflix app was crashing few times and restarting the phone automatically.  I also see no resolution with the Reinstall or Restart.  Waiting for an update from Samsung on this.

Same here, after Android version 11 on Samsung a40, I have the same issue with the streaming apps, such as Cosmote TV (Greece) and Netflix.  Sometimes, audio and subtitles are playing but no video, and sometimes video is lagging.

Tried factory reset without any result.

Same here, it really **bleep** me off - my netflix and other streaming apps are even crashing and my phone starts restarting.  I didn't have this problem before update. I tried restart, cleaning cache etc but it doesn't work at all.

Hi, I have the same problem : Galaxy A40, streaming apps crash after update to One UI 3.1, Android 11. All apps worked good with Android 10. Now, I have sound with black screen for few seconds and after, the phone reboot itself ... Same issues with Prime Video App, Netflix App, Disney+ App, B.TV App (french TV App from my operator).

Try to empty cache, try to restart, try to re-install apps ... nothing work.

Does anyone have any ideas ? Or does Samsung can communicate ?

(sorry for my bad english, I am french user ...)
