My Samsung Galaxy A33 5G suddenly rebooted automatically this afternoon at 3:10 PM. Nothing serious happened, but I want to know why it’s happened. Does anyone have any idea why it is happening.

Also, I haven't received february and March 2024 security updates. Does anyone have any reason why it is happening with my smartphone.

Goto Settings> Device Care> Auto Optimization. There you can see if your device was rebooted by system or something else.

If you have enabled auto optimization, it will automatically reboot whenever system feels it to be optimized.

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your query, we want to inform you that in some cases regular OS upgrades may cause delays to planned security updates. However, you can rest assured the OS upgrades will include up-to-date security patches when delivered.

Kindly perform the following steps to resolve your auto reboot issue.

Kindly use a genuine Samsung charger.
We always recommend using a genuine Samsung charger for charging your device.

There are two methods to disable the auto restart function
1- Tap on Settings> General management>Reset > Disable Auto restart (if enabled)> Auto restart disabled.
2- Tap on Settings> Battery and device care> Three dots> Automation> Auto restart at set times if enabled.

If you are facing this issue after installing any new application then uninstall that application.
Tap on Settings> Apps > desired app> Uninstall> Ok.

Update device software (If available): Settings > Software update > Download and install > Checking for software update > Software update available > Download > Downloading updates > Install now.

Reset settings: Tap on Settings>General Management> Reset and then tap on Reset settings.

You can reset your device by following the steps from the below link.
