It’s outrageous that a premium phone like the Samsung A73 5G, which was marketed with a 5-year update promise, is now plagued by the notorious screen line issue—a problem that Samsung refuses to properly acknowledge or fix. I bought this phone two years ago, expecting long-term reliability, but instead, I’m now dealing with continuous screen lines that make the device practically unusable.
Samsung’s so-called 5-year support is just a marketing gimmick if their devices start failing well before that. Instead of standing by their products, they’re forcing customers into buying a new phone. What’s the point of investing in Samsung if the quality doesn’t match the promise? This is planned obsolescence, plain and simple.
If this is how Samsung treats its customers, it’s no surprise that people are switching to iPhones or other brands. At least with Apple, you get longevity and resale value. Samsung risks losing customer trust permanently if they continue down this path. They need to step up and provide real solutions, not excuses.
