Fingerpint sensor does not work even after the April update. I have a screen protector installed. Sensor recognises for 1-2hr after registering the finger, but then after that it keeps showing no match for all registered fingers. Not sure why it stops working after couple of hours.
It depends on many factors like we sometimes try and unlock our phone with oily, wet, dirty or something stick on our finger. So thin layer of it get set in fp scanner may cause this issue. If screen protector is of poor quality then it's glue between protector and screen make it difficult for fp scanner to work properly. Even air bubble developed on fp scanner or scratch on screen protector may also cause issues.
