Is anyone else facing quick battery drain issue?. I just bought a brand new Samsung A15 5G mobile phone. Its only been 2 weeks. Im experiencing battery issue. One percent charge only lasts for 5 minutes. I timed it multiple times. Charges above 90 percent depletes fast even when not using. Now im worried about the authenticity of this product. Any solutions?

The quick battery drain issue on your Samsung A15 5G is concerning, especially since it's a brand new device. You're not alone, as some users have reported similar issues.

To address this problem, let's try some troubleshooting steps:

- *Check your battery settings*: Ensure that your battery settings are optimized. Go to _Settings_ > _Device care_ > _Battery_ and check if any apps are consuming excessive power.
- *Update your software*: Make sure your device is running the latest software. Go to _Settings_ > _Software update_ > _Download and install_.
- *Perform a factory reset*: If the issue persists, try performing a factory reset. This will restore your device to its default settings. However, be sure to back up your data before doing so.
- *Check for physical damage*: Inspect your device's charging port and battery for any physical damage.
- *Visit a Samsung authorized service center*: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there's a hardware problem. Visit a Samsung authorized service center for further assistance.

Regarding your concern about the authenticity of the product, it's unlikely that the issue is related to the device being counterfeit. However, if you're still unsure, you can contact Samsung's customer support or visit a Samsung authorized service center to verify the device's authenticity.

Actually the device software is up to date. Its been 2 weeks since i bought this mobile phone. I tried everything. Optimized unused apps. I always turn off my mobile data when not in use. I always make sure that location, wifi and bluetooth are not on. I am using a samsung charger that i bought at the official price. I even changed the refresh rate to 60Hz. But still its draining charge like an year old mobile phone. And the worst thing is i haven't used this device for intense activities like gaming or anything. I dont think this thing will last an hour under intense gaming.

When i checked the IMEI number details. The details of both the IMEI numbers vary with each other. One shows that this device is manufactured in the year 2025. Thats when i started questioning the authenticity of this product.
