I noticed today that my A71 was very bent and twisted - with more than 1/2" deflection in one axis and about 1/4" deflection in the perpendicular axis. I feel like I would have noticed this if I had attempted to use it previously. I do not keep my phone in my pocket and cannot see any way the phone would have been exposed to substantial force or should be bent like this.
It does seem fully functional and it was in a protective but soft shelled case so its possible it has been bent for a while. Have others had this problem? How is it best fixed? Can anyone shed some light on what might have happened here?

Bro a smartphone or any other solid bents with any type of force only.. Try to slowly & carefully bent the phone on opposite direction .. Otherwise go to service center
The main culprit may be the heat generated during charging.. I've heard one, same problem with Samsung phone which was genuinely caused by charging... And these problems are most likely to occur over time, not in a day.. It's not recommended to fix this on one's own... Better take it to a good service center..

same here with mine. mine is in PERFECT condition yet still is bent and my sister only pointed it out recently. my phone still works but it's still weird that it's bent. kind of off topic but it seems that Samsung phones that are over 3 years tend to explode due to the battery. the a71 was released two years ago so it could be that. I think you'll find more here
