Yes, it is a matter of personal preference & budget. If the size is not an issue, then hardware-wise the Ultra varient is the best that Samsung offers. That's the reason why the Ultra varient can even cost 60% more than the base varient.
Had the specs been the same, then the base varient could have been considered. Since, it is not, then there is no point looking down below Ultra, if you want the best that Samsung offers.
