Please reconfirm the mobile device's region, even if purchased from Amazon, as international versions are available. If the region is not UAE, Samsung Wallet functionality will not be supported on your device.
Yes, I had similar issue, where Wallet closed unexpectedly when try to do a payment. But yesterday there's an update for the app. 爛 Hope this will resolve the issue.
