Ok, now I got it. Earlier in oreo version, when I click any app from the list, it by default get into multiwindow mode. In Pie version, I need to touch and hold it to open it in multiwindow mode. Thanks for your reply Karan
Yes, but when I tap it and select an app from the list, it is getting into full screen mode instead of multiwindow mode. Earlier in Oreo version it worked as expected. In Pie it is not working
