Does anyone has a fix to this? The only way App Store shows updates is when you remove the apps from deep sleeping settings and re enable them after you have updated.

Two things are important,1, Fast charging has to be enabled in settings if the phone supports that.2, Use original charger, make sure it is compatible, it depends on the wattage.
This is normal when your phone or charger has some moisture, keep the phone and charger somewhere warm and dry, once the moisture is dry it will work fine, happened with me multiple times.
