I was very much looking forward to getting the Galaxy Watch 7! I have been a huge fan of the Galaxy Watch and have long appreciated its comprehensive fitness tracking, including blood pressure, body composition, and other metrics. However, I have noticed that some metrics have been less accurate over the years, and this seems to persist with the new models. However, I still need to get the Galaxy Watch 7 as it has a faster processor (better performance) and better sensors.

Based on my personal experience with the Galaxy Watch 6, I found that while the sleep tracking feature was generally good in measuring duration, its precision in other areas was lacking. Additionally, the heart rate monitoring was unreliable during workouts, often failing to detect decreases in heart rate. These observations align with those of a reputable YouTuber who conducted a thorough scientific analysis, and he also found the Galaxy Watch 7's performance to be disappointing.

Manual ECG readings also caused me considerable stress due to their inaccuracy.

Samsung, I am compelled to inquire about your strategic direction. It seems that in many assessments, Apple Watches consistently outperform their competitors in terms of accuracy. This is deeply concerning and disheartening for a loyal Galaxy Watch user like myself.

On a positive note, I have found the blood pressure measurements to be accurate in most cases. However, I had hoped that heart rate and sleep tracking would be on par with the Apple Watch.

Overall, I am disappointed. I hope that future updates and models will address these issues to meet the high standards that Samsung is known for.

Recently, I ordered galaxy watch 7 and returned due to the way too high heart rate during exercise Today I have received another one (new) because I thought maybe it was just a bad example. Well the current one has the same issue. When I just walk and my heart rate is between 70 and 80 samsung watch 7 claims my heart rate to be over 120 or even over 140 !!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like all of them have the same issue!!!!!!

Samsung you are a disgrace to your country!!!

To compare accuracy, consider simultaneously using your Galaxy Watch 7 alongside another fitness tracker, such as an Apple Watch, or a medical-grade device like the Polar H10. I've noticed discrepancies when comparing my Galaxy Watch 7 readings to those from a Braun Thermoscan 7; the watch sometimes fails to register decreases in heart rate that the oximeter detects.
