I have s20 fan edition(exynos 990) everything is good except  battery ,especially when it comes to gaming battery won't long last with 120hz,this phone has both 60 and 120hz but if I use 60hz I can notice frame dropping and If I use 120hz battery doesn't support,it makes me feel like having everything but nothing,so I would appreciate if samsung adds adaptive refresh rates in thier next updates.
If Bixby routines can change refresh rates based on battery level can't it be done on applications too

S20 FE has a LTPS display whereas adaptive refresh needs LTPO displays. So, its hardware bound and cannot be provided with software updates.

Adaptive refresh rate won't work on your device because it's hardware dependent.
But there is a solution for your issue, Download a toggle to set your Refresh rate to 96hz from Xda developers, Thats completely safe and that will fix the frame drops as well as battery drain. You can even use it all the time without worrying. I myself used it for a long time and that's worth a try.

If that helped or solved your query "Accept as solution" will be appreciated.
