Is green line issue causing samsung to delay the release od UI 7.0? Obviously, display hardware is expensive to be replaced for free of cost.

There's no direct evidence to suggest that the green line issue is the primary cause of Samsung delaying the release of One UI 7.0.
Here's a breakdown of why:
* Software Updates and Hardware Issues: Software updates and hardware issues are generally treated as separate concerns by manufacturers.
* Complexity of Software Development: The development of a major Android skin like One UI involves extensive testing, optimization, and feature integration. Delays can arise from various factors, including unforeseen bugs, compatibility issues, and the sheer scale of the project.
* The Green Line Issue: While a significant issue, it primarily affects the display hardware. While Samsung may have to address potential implications for affected devices (like potential repairs or replacements), this wouldn't necessarily halt the entire software update rollout.
It's important to note:
* Samsung hasn't officially stated the reasons for any potential delays in One UI 7.0's release.
* The green line issue is a serious hardware problem that Samsung will need to address appropriately.
In Summary: While the green line issue is a factor Samsung needs to consider, it's unlikely to be the sole or primary reason for any delays in the One UI 7.0 release.

The reason behind the failure of display hardwares in OEMs like samsung and oneplus is questionable.... or maybe their choice of chip and motherboard vs android 15?

It would be unfair to blame one and leave other to go scot-free. This green line issue is a combination of both. There is failure in fitting the Android into Samsung. Where the fault lie we customers would not know. Going by common sense pixel phones too use android and green line issue is unheard of in a pixel. Thus, Samsung's R&D failed somewhere along compromising quality at the cost pushing their product into the market. Now, Samsung having realised its blunder should continue to replace all green line displays free as an atonement to their sin. The greenline and Samsung's refusal to replace free has eroded customer's faith seriously.

With S25 poised for launch Samsung fans are apprehensive to pre book and have chosen to approach a wait and watch attitude.

Samsung shot itself in its foot.

Just one question, who is responsible for hardware failure caused by software updates? Devices within or without the warranty period? Oneplus is doing the right thing. But, many feel, samsung is not....
