Most of the Samsung A, M, and F series smartphones with Exynos 9610 and Exynos 9611 chipset are facing frequent freezing and restart issues. Many users are reporting this issue via the Samsung Members app and other social media sites.

https://r2.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-A/Hanging-and-Restarting-Issue-is-a-Scam/td-p/8748120/pag...

Not sure, but this might be the first issue posted on the Samsung Members app (posted on November 11, 2019) -> https://r2.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-M/Samsung-galaxy-M30s-restarting-problem/td-p/2750116

And the problem with the chipset still exists with more and more users are posting on the Samsung Members app and other social media sites. So, it is possible that the problem is with the Exynos 9610 and Exynos 9611 processor itself and not with the entire motherboard.

If this is true, replacing the motherboard isn't the solution as it is the same chipset the customer care guys are replacing. Also, it doesn't guarantee that the replacement motherboard doesn't have the restarting issue; since most users are facing the issue after a year.

Samsung hasn't acknowledged the issue yet, and they are using the same chipset since 2019. The problem started in 2019 and still exists in the latest Exynos 9611 devices. So, how do we know that replacement motherboards don't have the issue?

The company is charging Rs. 7000 - 9000 for the motherboard replacement (out of warranty device). It's not the customer's fault, so why should they pay to fix it?

-------------------

Solution (may work): Some users have reported that limiting CPU utilization to 50% or 70% solves the problem. You can not limit CPU usage to 50% without unlocking the bootloader, but you can easily limit CPU usage to 70% by turning on the Power Saving Mode.

If this works, then please reply this could help other users also.

Thank You

The battery may charge slower if it's hot or you are using while charging. If that's not the case, drain the battery until the phone turns off automatically and then charge the phone to 100% in switched off state. Do it couple of times to recalibrate the battery. PS: You should charge the battery when it reaches 20% not 45%.

Not all Exynos 9611 phones. No issues in Samsung Galaxy A51 ( Exynos 9611 ). Exynos 9611 is good for gaming
