I am also unable to register, its showing registration failed. as usually samsung support said reset phone and use in safe mode and the problem is with airtel . on the other hand airtel said since normal messaging is working, so its not a problem with airtel but samsung.
For me the chat settings are enabled. But I'm not able to send a chat message. The messages that I'm sending are going as SMS messages. My phone is connected to the internet while I send the messages. I'm using a A31 model with an airtel sim. The other person also has chat features enabled on his phone. Also I verified in the chat settings that the default messaging type was set to chat. Please help.
Is it solved? I'm also trying to find an answer for it. On google message app rcs feature works smoothly, but in samsung message app even if the chat feature is on the sms is sending as text even if default mode is chat.
