The feature is avaialable on the phones of other manufacturers as well.
Basically the front camera keeps analyzing the position of the user's head/face/eyes to identify if he/she is looking at the screen or not if the user's head/face/eyes are at differnt position from the screen then the video is paused else it continues to play.
This would prevent the users to pause and play the video manually.
Feature should be open for all the apps that supports the video playback

Presently only Screen awake feature is there by keep looking at screen.
I use this Video pause feature way back ago in my Galaxy S3 Neo
..But later on, This feature was removed.
