This week, we would like to look into the topic: Samsung Notes

With Samsung Notes, take your notes to new heights by creating notes containing texts, images with footnotes, voice recordings, and music. Moreover, you can share your notes easily to SNS.

Think there are more ways in which you can get the most out of the Notes app? We would love your feedback and suggestions. Here are some ideas to get you thinking:
1. Fast and easy ways of scraping information using Artificial Intelligence.
2. More templates for editing notes to increase the utility.
3. Increase the utility of shared note.

All you need to do is:

Create a post detailing your idea/suggestion.
Include illustrations/diagrams/images or any detail you feel will help us understand it better.
Include #InnovationLab in your post title/subject.

Samsung notes has come a long way, and it is a very good note taking application.

Here are my suggestions:

▷ Text editing features or rich text formatting features:
• Option to add date and time stamp.
• Feature to retain hyperlink while exporting as PDF.
• Option to add quotes or code block or both.
• The existing option to change the font size is nice, but it'd be good to have Heading options in the text like H1, H2, H3.
• Option to add reminders inside the note which should be linked with samsung reminders/Microsoft ToDo.
• Option to add a horizontal line.
• Adding table feature.
• Some basic templates that note takers use usually like meeting minutes, etc. Or to save a note as a template, that way everyone can make their own templates. All major note taking apps have this feature. (The existing template feature in Samsung notes is different from what I'm suggesting)

▷ UI and UX features:
• Better folder management
• Bigger and better folder thumbnails.
• Option to add images as folder thumbnails would be nice. (Extra nice if Samsung provides the thumbnails inside the app like Zoho notebooks or Upnote)
• Option to move the notes into a folder from the note taking itself.
• Option to make folderview as default in the settings.
• Note statistics - like word count or character count.
