High security issue due to the pre-installed facebook app. Samsung had partnered with facebook to help stealing user data. Thats why facebook app is pre-installed and also not removable. I am consorn about my privacy. I want samsung to let me uninstalled facebook immediately to secure my data. I am formaly contacting you to warn for this practice of data stealing or indirectly helping other app for data stealing. If not any immediate action taken from your side, I planed to go to consumer court for consumer rights. Also advice all samsung users who have facebook like apps which track you activity or steal phine data 24×7, please raise voice.

oh so u means who is in online world, he should not concern about his personal life being public. he should not think of his privacy. he should himself start helping then to send his contact list, sms content call logs. why he make facebook do effors for this, he should help facebook. ONLY BECAUSE HE IS IN ONLINE WORLD.

Don't know man, in my phone, there was an option to uninstall Facebook and I did the same. Disable it, it cannot do anything, or if you are really concerned, go my way, use ADB, completely uninstall Facebook and its services.

dude, first u said there is a option to uninstall it, then why did u advise to disable it?
facebook does not get uninstalled from samsung phones. u just can disable it. or by using ADB method also it does not get removed permanently. if u do not believe me then parmanent remove by ADB then reset ur phone u will see that magic theft app again.

It does, I advised you to diable it because you said that there is no option to uninstall it. You have to set the phone up carefully, checking just the important stuff. I know about ADB. The app gets uninstalled, but the APK stays there, and the APK cannot do anything at all.

front looking facebook app is not only 1 app. there r 4 to 5 facebook services present in phone. do u think everyone who is not technical like you will first get to know the app package name then run ADB command? you have secured ur phone by using this. how can others?
or if this is the solution why dont samsung do it for all. or the best is samsung does not forcefully add **bleep** apps in stock.

Why are you telling me what I already know? And I was not technical a year ago, but now I am, and its the same for everyone, its the internet, you have to become technical in order to secure your privacy. Also, please behave properly. In total, there is 1 app and 3 services. The 3 services cannot work without the main app, so if you disable or uninstall the main app, you are good to go, in my case, I uninstalled all of them.

first although I behaved u well in my all replys and if u think at any point that i misbehaved you that is because you would be having your own such respect in ur own mind.
2nd please do not tell tricks to skip the issue for only whom who are well known to technology like u. If samsung is doing a mistake you can not cover it by saying do this trick this will magically hide the facebook for the time u reset ur phone. all old age users, many parents of the technical people, people living in rural, there are more person who do not even know what the hell is ADB is. only you become technical only one year back, does not means everybody start knowing of ADB.
Samsung should do it, why dont you support or raise a complaint for this. you also must have paid for the phone or we never know you got a samsung phone in gift free of cost.

Well you might think you behaved well, but no, it might seem to you, but its definitely not. Its not "magically hiding facebook". Facebook pays Samsung to integrate the app, and if you set up your device in a proper way, Facebook can be uninstalled, the uninstall option shows up in place of disable. There are plenty of videos on YT on how to do that. It will take time to educate people, but it will eventually happen.

are bhai it will take time to educate people. then wo kam q nahi krna chayeae jisme time nahi lagega. ek software update aayega and ye sab bekar app me uninstall ka option aa jayega.

Also, in the videon it i clearly mentioned that Facebook collects dato of people who do not even have facebook from websites they visit, so, if I am not missing something here, you are safe nowhere.
