📱 Green Line or Screen Issue After One UI 7 Update — What to Do and Fix!*

Many Samsung Galaxy S and A series users are experiencing green lines or display issues on the screen after the One UI 7 (Android 14/15) update. This is mostly software-related or due to a sudden glitch in the display controller.

🔍 *Common Symptoms:* - Green lines/lines - Display flickers - Accompanied by heating and battery drain

🛠️ *Possible Solutions/What to Do:*

1. *Safe Mode*: Start the phone in Safe Mode and see if the screen is fine.

 2. *Report to Samsung Members App*: → Select Samsung Members App > Support > Error Report > Display Issue. → Send a screenshot and details.

3. *Service Center Visit*: If the issue is handset-based, visit an official service center.

4. *Free Screen Replacement Eligibility Check*: - Samsung offers free screen replacement in some cases if the problem occurs after a software update. - Having an invoice helps, but in some cases it also helps without it.

5. *Avoid Downgrade or Third-party Repair*: This may void the warranty.

I have the same issue on my S23 Ultra since couple days. These customer support people are just ignoring by giving the same answer "As pee policy/guidelines, your phone is out of warranty, so repair at your own cost". Like S20 - S22 series phones are under warranty.. And upon chatting with them, one supervisor just abruptly ended the chat when asked to let me talk his senior

In this situation, you can proceed in the following steps:

*What you can do:*

1. *Save the entire chat or complaint:*
- Keep *screenshots or records* of everything you said, such as "support reply", "chat disconnected".

2. *Make an official report on the Samsung Members app:*
- Go to *Samsung Members > Support > Send Feedback > Error Report* and write down the problem in detail (problems after the update, behavior, etc.).

3. *Make a report on social media:*
- Go to the official Samsung Support page on *Twitter (X), Facebook, Instagram* and raise the problem *politely but strongly*.

4. *Complain to a consumer rights organization:*
- If there is a *Consumer Rights Authority* in your country, complain there.

5. *Give joint user feedback:*
- Get together with others who have had the same problem and report it *at the same time*. This will increase the importance.

*Note:* Even if the phone warranty has expired, if it is a software update-related hardware issue (such as the Green line issue), then in many cases Samsung offers a goodwill warranty or free screen replacement — *but not unless you press for it.*

If it helps, please 'accept solution' from the three-dot menu in the comment. I will be happy.😊

I've tried the safe reboot. It doesn't help. Ive tried sending the error report. Haven't tried the 3rd and 4th point yet. For the 5th one the problem is that people are spread across, so it's difficult to get hold of all 😐
