Hi everyone,
I've been using the Samsung Messages app with RCS enabled, till 2 weeks ago. But now I'm using the Google Messages app, with chat features enabled in it. To those who are struggling to enable RCS, here's what I did:
1. Install google Carrier Services.

2. Enable RCS.
RCS on Samsung Messages
If you are using Samsung Messages, the process is easy. You can just open the settings of the app, then tap on Chat messages, then enable Rich Communication Settings.

RCS on Google Messages
On Google Messages, the process is bit lengthy, but not tough.
1. Set google messages as default SMS app if u haven't done it already.
2. Go to the app settings>Advanced>Phone number>type your phone number.
3. Go back and tap on Chat features.
4. Make sure everything is enabled.
5. The status should say "Trying to verify" now.
6. Tap on verify phone number, and type in your number again and tap on verify now.

7. Now all you have to do is wait until status says 'Connected'.

After this whenever you chat with someone who has enabled chat features either in samsung messages or google messages, you will notice this on the text box👇

And on Samsung Messages, it looks like this👇

The 'send' button is also in blue instead of green when you and the person you are chatting with has enabled RCS

I personally find google Messages to be better when using chat messages. It has one little feature that attracted me from samsung's app.
You can react to chat messages in google Messages, while you cant do that on Samsung Messages.

Tap and hold on a Chat message on Google Messages view a pop up like in the pic below👇

Tap on an emoji to react to that message👇

So that's it for today guys. Enjoy the chat features with whatever app you choose to use with😊

I think it's based on operator. I'm using airtel, and I guess you are using jio. That could be the reason...

Okay

You are using jio thats is why. Jio RCS on samsung message is not universal last i checked but when used on google messages, it does use the standard one.
