Battery consumption by Always On Display (AOD)

I don't usually use AOD but sometimes I love to show it on my small screen. But I feel like it drains battery much .

What's your take on AOD guys?

Yep, it does drain ...a good amount of battery...but I think it's more of personal choice....if you are working somewhere in office environment...and your phone sits idle...for a long time then AOD looks good as showpiece ...you don't need to buy clock seperately...and you can even get hints of you notifications...
