It's not a 5G only mode, it merely allows the phone to switch to 5G, wherever and whenever available.

As far as 5g only option
It is not practical for most people. 5g isn't available everywhere and because of only 5G you will have no signal most of the time. If you want just 5g you can download 3rd party app to change it.

I tried the 5G Only Network Mode app. Worked perfectly, but it can't handle calls, the issue is, both parties must be on VoNR to have calls on 5G only mode (the other option is to use online calling through apps such as WhatsApp).
