Hey guys, so last year I made a list of features that the community wanted to be added to One UI 4, and surprisingly a few of them made it in!

Anyway, I figured I'd do the same thing again this year:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DfaMQhzHRPvZfURkZD2PJEA3x_CDorirnEqwwZRsDeY/edit?usp=sharing

A lot of the things in this list are copied from last year's list, so if you see a feature that already exists in One UI just let me know and I'll remove it from the list.

Oh, and of course comment below your ideas for what should get added, if I added the feature to the list I'll reply to your comment by saying "added to section X" or I'll ask you to clarify your idea.

Also, I will explicitly say "That feature already exists". If I am saying "added to section X" that doesn't mean it already exists in One UI, it simply means that I am adding it to the wishlist.

And before anyone asks, no I will not allow anyone to edit permissions for the Google Docs document.

Please read through the list before suggesting your ideas, as most likely your idea is already on the list.

If you are coming to a cross-post, please comment here as I will not get notified of responses from the crosspost.

Send this list to Samsung via Samsung Members! If more people send it to Samsung, the higher the chance that they'll see it and implement these features!

Also, let me know if you do send the list to Samsung! I'm curious to see how many people did.

One UI 5.0 will release sometime in the fall, the first beta has not even been released yet so hopefully, someone at Samsung will see this list and consider some of these ideas!

Last year's post for anyone interested:

Wishlist for One UI 5.0 (Based on Android 13) Last Updated: May 13th, 2022 By BDTech Suggestions by: Reddit, Samsung Members, and Discord. Suggest your ideas here and I'll add them to the list: https://www.reddit.com/r/oneui/comments/unaw1q/wishlist_for_android_13_one_ui_50/ Join the server: https://discord.gg/WuJENH8cmz One UI Home: When you long-press on an icon, have it so that you can hold and drag to the shortcut you want to open that shortcut. (Instead of having to hold, let go, then tap the shortcut that appears). When you long-press a folder, it should show all the notifications from the apps in that folder. (Same should go for Game Launcher). Showing more than 1 notification when long-pressing an icon. (Maybe let us see 3 at once instead?). Let us long press on the page indicator to quickly scroll between different pages on the home and Apps screens. Option to have a different home screen layout when in focus mode. Option to have a “Widgets” section on the left side of the home screen. Have a “white” icon for the apps button that changes based on if you have night mode enabled or not. Have an option for labels on the dock (the icons at the bottom of the home screen). These labels were removed with the One UI update, adding an option to bring them back. Add an option to remove one of the “priority apps” rows from the vertical app drawer in Home UP. Add an option to remove the “priority apps” from the vertical app drawer in Home UP.Add an option to remove the dock. Add an option for wallpaper scrolling, motion wallpapers, and wallpaper touch input support. Make "Apply Dark mode to Wallpaper" turn on automatically based on the ambient lighting (auto-brightness basically, supposedly this is an Android 13 beta feature: https://www.androidpolice.com/android-13s-wallpaper-dimming-feature/). Bring Google Discover to all devices. Add an option to make it so that folders in the app drawer and folders on the home screen are synched. As in, if you remove an app from the folder on the home screen, that same app should be removed from the folder in the Apps screen. Add a battery widget which shows the battery life of your phone, tablet, watch, earbuds, etc. The navigation bar, Buttons and Swipe gestures: Option to hide the Navbar/Gesture hints on the home screen (but have it appear everywhere else). Bring back the button to show/hide the navbar (without having to use goodlock). Bring back the “back gesture” option on the keyboard. Rework all of the animations, the current animations have a lag, stutter, and are outdated in design. Option to remove "swiping from the left edge". Most Android apps still use a hamburger menu, being able to remove the left side for the back would be a good change (without having to use One-Handed Operation+). Have the "Swipe gestures" be fully transparent in all apps. Implementing this is dependent on the app developers, Samsung should add this into their apps as well. (The Goodlock implementation doesn’t count, it’s not the same). Have the default navbar/Gesture hints colour be black instead of white (That’s why the navbar is sometimes white when it shouldn’t be). When opening and closing the camera app with gesture navigation, there is a delay and Frames drop in the gesture animation. This happens even on the Galaxy S22 series of phones. Please fix this issue, Samsung.Immersive mode: Hide the navbar/Gesture hints when you’re scrolling through an app and you aren’t using it. Fix swipe and gesture lags for PIP (Picture in Picture), especially when in landscape mode. Add the option to open the Split Screen view when long-pressing the app in the Recent Apps menu, currently, the only options are to open the pop-up view and to open the app in full screen. Display: Make the Adaptive Eye comfort shield work more like the iOS True Tone feature. Currently, the Eye comfort shield is very subtle, I can barely tell when it changes, Samsung needs to make it more obvious in my opinion. Add an option to adjust the gamma level. Add the "Adaptive" option to all devices that support multiple refresh rates, it seems to be an arbitrary limitation. Move the colour adjustment/custom profile (colour wheel) from accessibility to regular display settings. Advanced features: Option to use drawing for gestures. I.e., draw a circle to open the camera app, turn on the flashlight, etc. Like how it is on OnePlus phones. Option to use three-finger gestures. I.e., a three-finger gesture to take a screenshot. Let us adjust the sensitivity of "Palm swipe to capture". Dual apps feature for all apps. (Without having to use the Secure folder). Let us remap the Bixby button without having to sign in/activate Bixby, and add an option to map it to Google Assistant. Bring back the option to cast and screen share to non-Google devices. Screenshots and Screen recorder: Make the "screenshot toolbar" animation faster.Add an option to save screenshots outside of the DCIM folder. Add an AI that makes "smooth shapes". (I.e., draw a circle and it will make a perfect circle on the screenshot). Option for 1440p on Screen recorder Option for 60 FPS and 120 FPS on Screen recorder Option to remove the 3-second timer from Screen recorder (I know they added this, but I meant if it was an option to permanently remove it in here):Lock screen: Make “Lift to wake” work better and respond instantly. Also, add a "Lower to sleep" feature. Add sensitivity customization for "Lift to wake" and "Lower to sleep". Option to take a picture with the selfie camera after multiple failed to unlock attempts. Add an option for motion wallpapers on the Lock screen. Add a “Zoom in/out” wallpaper effect animation when the screen turns on/off, it would look nice. Add different options for the screen lock/unlock animation. For example, the animation that plays on Samsung TVs looks like a CRT TV turning on/off. Let us rotate the lock screen when using a video wallpaper or a live wallpaper (We used to have this feature in One UI 1). Option for notifications to be hidden until you look at the phone and it unlocks with your face. Used to be a feature in the Android 10 beta, would be nice if they brought it back. Have an option to “stay on lock screen” when unlocking with a fingerprint. Have an option so that the weather can appear under the clock. Make the “Icon” notification style icons larger and add the borders back, they’re hard to see. Add more clock styles (And bring back the ones from One UI 2). Add album artwork to the lock screen like we used to have in Android 6 (Marshmallow). Make “Lockdown” mode force close all apps and delete device encryption keys from the memory (return the phone to BFU state). Security: Option to lock individual apps via the screen lock password/pin + biometrics or another password/pin + biometrics outside the Secure folder. Face authentication for logins and payments. Allow more than 4 fingerprints to be registered.Secure folder: Add the option to access the Secure folder directly by entering its password on the lock screen. (But limit it so that you can only access apps inside of Secure folder). Add an option to make the Secure folder into a launcher with its wallpaper and app drawer. Fingerprint scanner icon customization: Pick different “fingerprint” icons which all animate differently? Maybe different colours aside from the standard white and black (Have the status bar icons, and the FP icon colour adaptive like the clock is). Have a section in the Galaxy Themes Store for different Fingerprint icons/unlocking animations, since Samsung is going to add this feature to many phones going forward, having this be customizable would be great. Choose between different unlocking animations since so many people don’t like the ripple animation. Have something like a laser line going through the fingerprint icon. I think Samsung could implement this since they let us customize the Iris scanner “masks” on the S8/S9. Phone: Add an option to block numbers by area code or part of the number itself. (I.e., block “@”, “+1”, or “+800”). Add Call Screening feature from Pixel devices. Messages: Say "send" to send a text. Camera: Simplify the camera app: There are too many camera modes, I.e., see below. Get rid of night mode, it’s already included as part of the scene optimizer anyway. Combine the photo and night modes (Rename it to “Auto”), just have a button to take a video.Combine the Portrait and Portrait Video modes (Rename it to “Portrait”), just have a button to take a Portrait video. Combine the Pro and Pro Video Modes (Rename it to “Pro”), just have a button to take a Pro video. Combine the Slow Motion and Super Slow-Mo modes (Rename it to “Slow Motion”), just have a button to switch between the two slow-mo options. This change will be beneficial IMO, going from 15 modes down to 10 modes will make the user experience a lot better. Add a dedicated Astrophotography mode: Have an option that uses the device location and AI to check for the Earth's rotation to reduce star trails. Add Clone Videos and Time freeze video modes, like on Xiaomi phones. Add photosphere and fisheye modes. Add more "zoom" to the selfie cam, currently, there are only "normal" and "wide" options for zooming, having an option to zoom in even more would be nice, like on Snapchat. Add an option to switch between the front and rear camera by “shaking” the phone left and right, like on Motorola and Pixel phones. Add an option to launch the camera app by “shaking” the phone left and right, like on Motorola and Pixel phones. Additionally, make it so that the user can remap it to launch any app. Add an option to turn the flashlight on by “chopping” the phone up and down, like on Motorola phones. Additionally, make it so that the user can remap it to any function of their choosing. Add an option to lock the camera orientation. (Sometimes the camera doesn’t rotate when you want it to, having it locked in landscape mode all the time would be beneficial). Add exposure bracketing under Pro mode. Add a sharpness slider under Pro mode/Pro Video mode. Exposure time in Pro Mode: The current limit is 30 seconds, expanding this to 60 seconds and having more steps in the longer timings would allow for a lot more light when using the camera. Focus on making the camera app faster and lighter, the current camera app is very CPU heavy.Faster shutter speed: When Scene Optimizer detects pets or children (Basically, a fast-moving object), the shutter speed should increase to prevent blurry photos. *Also, enabling motion photo makes shutter speeds slow, having motion photo on AND fast shutter speeds would be much appreciated. The viewfinder has a "preview" of what the frame will look like with the ultra-wide lens (Like on the iPhone). Portrait Video should work with all objects, not just faces (I would like to take a video of a subject and have my background blurred). Add an option to change what zoom levels the tree icons go to. (I.e., tapping the one tree icon goes to 10x) and let us add more than three trees. Add an option to have panoramas on the front camera. Add an option to swap the “Hold shutter button” and “Swipe down on shutter button” functionalities. After you hold down the shutter button to take a video, let us “lock” the button so that we don’t have to keep it held down during the video. Add an option to customize the top row of icons and rearrange them (Settings, Flash, Timer, Aspect Ratio, Motion Photo, and Beauty). Also, some additional toggle suggestions: HDR (On, Off, and Auto), Resolution (720p, 1080p, 4K, 8K, etc), Framerate (24,30,60,120 fps). *Some of these resolution/frame rate options are only available in the pro-video mode for some reason. Add an option to swap the top row and the bottom row (Modes) (Like on Samsung Experience 9, Android Oreo). I’m much more likely to tap between the options at the top than I am to switch between modes. Plus, we can just switch between modes by swiping left/right anyway. Flash use on the Ultra-Wide lens. Add an option to turn the flash on when tapping to focus on the screen. Telephoto lens support in Pro Mode/Video Pro Mode. Add 16-bit support when using HEIC. (Some devices, like the Galaxy S21 Ultra, have the hardware to support this, and 10 bit for Galaxy S21/S21+).AR Emoji in Director’s view: Let us have our AR Emoji on our face while using Director’s View. I think Virtual YouTubers aka "Vtubers" would love this. Add an option to have FHD 60 FPS as the default in Super steady (it defaults back to FHD 30 FPS normally). Add an "underwater mode" for the camera. When underwater we know that the touchscreen doesn't work and sometimes it even detects false clicks and stops video recording, messes with the zoom etc. So, this mode would allow you to disable the touchscreen temporarily and remap all the physical buttons (power, volume up and down and Bixby) and choose their behaviour inside the camera app, be able to save those profiles and swap between them, so you could zoom underwater, toggle flash, take screenshots of the video being recorded or other things. One could ask, how would you toggle this mode off if the buttons are remapped once enabled and no touchscreen would be available? You could for example hold the volume up and down simultaneously for 3 seconds or hold the power button for 5 seconds (because holding power for two seconds could be enabling the flashlight for example), pressing buttons twice should be customizable too. And of course, don't worry about being locked outside, if you forget the "escape" combination, once the app hits its idle timer and closes, the touchscreen would be back. Always on Display: Bring back the “Rotate” and “Auto brightness/brightness slider” buttons on the Always-on Display (Android 10 update removed these in place of a Settings and Brightness slider button, Android 9 had it perfect). Adaptive brightness that learns your preferences over time. The phone has this feature already, but the AOD doesn’t. Add an option to have the Always-on Display rotation “sync” with the phone rotation. For example, if you are in landscape view on your phone, and you press the power button, the AOD should appear in landscape mode. Have it so that the AOD rotates to landscape depending on which way your phone is facing. Alright enough with the landscape mode! Here’s some other stuff: Add more clock styles (Once again, bring back the ones from One UI 2!).For the “GIF” clock style, there should be an animation when going from the Lock screen to AOD, but there isn’t. Make the Edge clock style interactive with different widgets and notifications. Add an option for wallpapers as the Always-on Display, like we used to have back on Android 7 and allow us to make our own. 1 Hz mode for Always-on Display on Galaxy S22 Ultra. Not sure why it’s 60 Hz currently. Also, make the Always-on Display brighter, it’s too hard to see. Have an “Outdoor mode” that automatically triggers when the phone is outside. Widgets (Lock screen): Make the Face widgets an open API so that devs can make their own on the Galaxy Apps store! Like how we can download extra Edge panels for example. Let us add any Widgets to this panel. Bring back the old media Face widget from One UI 2, the one in One UI 3 is hard to read and you can no longer wipe it away. Battery and device care: Bring back Storage cleaning. Show the “Battery Health” in the “Battery section”. For example, it will say “Your phone is at 85% Battery Health, which is considered good”. Show the current estimated battery capacity in Milliamp Hours. Show the charging speed when charging. (Round to 5 watts, 10 watts, 15 watts, etc). 10 Hz/48 Hz mode for Power saving mode: Galaxy S21 goes down to 48 Hz, Galaxy S21 Ultra goes down to 10 Hz. Having the AOD go down to their respective minimum refresh rates would be good for battery life. Add an option to have 120 Hz on power-saving mode. Add further controls to “Limit max battery charge”. For example, pick 60%, 70%, or 80% as the maximum charge level. I think this feature will GREATLY help with battery longevity. (Add this option to Game Launcher, too).Quick settings: Fix stutters in the Quick settings panel. Make it so that tapping on the clock opens the clock app, also an option to display your next alarm here. Have the arrow on the right of the brightness bar a radio button instead that turns auto brightness on/off. Make the toggles themselves bigger and more “bubbly” in shape, like how they are in Android 12 on Pixel devices. Have a swipeable section on the clock where you can swipe between the weather, media controls, Galaxy Buds battery level, Galaxy Buds ambient mode/lock touchpad, etc. (Basically, let us add a small widget to the quick settings area). Move the Search, Power, Settings, and More icons back down to where they were in One UI 2. (Right above the Devices and Media panel would be perfect). Add an option to make the Quick settings opaque. (Remove the blur and transparency completely). Add an option to add "Dynamic blur" to the Galaxy A series of devices. Add a toggle for Wi-Fi Direct. Add an option to make the quick panel look like how it does on Pixel Android 12. Notifications: Fix Notification bubbles, their current implementation is a little broken. Add a gesture to quickly close Notification bubbles. Like how FB Messenger chat heads used to have. For Edge lighting, bring back the option to have the colour different on an app per-app basis. Also, bring back the option to have Edge lighting on only when the screen is off. Recent apps:Have the app icons themselves on the bottom. Put the search bar on the bottom. Fix stutters in recent apps and when using horizontal swiping. Let us swipe between more than one app at a time when using gestures. I.e., let us swipe between 2 apps at once. Bring back the option to have an unlimited number of apps pinned in the recent menu. (I.e., Pressing "Close all" doesn't close the pinned apps). Add the "select text" feature like how it is on Pixel phones. Recent apps menu should "update" in real-time, for example, when you turn on Dark mode it should show it in the menu without you having to open the app. iOS implements it like that: https://photos.app.goo.gl/o7JaW3CsqxT9NAQEA Side Key (Power Button): Let us launch Google Assistant when long-pressing the Side Key, or just let us customize it. Samsung Notes: Add an option to fill in shapes drawn. For example, if you drew a square let us fill the square in. Samsung Notes app for Chromebooks. Bixby Routines: More options for Bixby routines, please! For example, something that lets you change your wallpaper depending on the time of day or if you turn Dark mode on/off. Add an option to keep the battery limit on until your alarm goes off. For example, disable the 85% battery limit 30 minutes before the alarm. Allowing enough time to fully charge and maintaining battery health. Add the option to share routines with other Galaxy users. Add an option to have some “Then” options work for “If”. For example, If Screen orientation is Landscape, then rotate the Always-on Display to Landscape. Or if Auto brightness is on, Enable Auto brightness for Always-on Display. Samsung Music: Let us unlock with Under display fingerprints on the “Control music from lock screen”. Bring back the old equalizer (without having to use SoundAssistant). Bring back edge lighting in Samsung Music. Samsung Pay: Samsung Pay “Cards” on the Power menu. Samsung Health: Have a page which shows your current Workout information on top of the lock screen. (For example, how Google Maps and Samsung Music appear on top of the lock screen). Have a feature to scan barcodes and "nutrition facts" tables to make adding food calories and nutrients easier. Let us download food lists from different regions. I.e., if you live in France but you have the device language set to English, the food list should be food from France, not food from Britain. Game Launcher: Bring back the option to specify game resolution and frame rate in games (without using game plugins). Samsung Gallery: Show how many bits a photo is taken with. (I.e., 10 bit, 12 bit or 16 bit). Bring back the "Advanced" version of Photo Editor which included features like backlight and histogram. Add an option to store tags in the EXIF of a photo. Integrate Samsung Gallery albums into Google Photos.Galaxy Wearable: Add an option to remove the pop-up menu when connecting to Galaxy Buds. Video player: Add embedded subtitles and multitrack audio support. Galaxy Store: The "Updates" section should be for all apps, sometimes some updates for apps don't appear in this section. Have the language be the same as the System language, rather than having it by SIM card region. Good Lock: Add Goodluck and Good Guardians to ALL regions. Community made themes: Let us download themes made by other people in Theme Park, LockStar, Wonderland and Clockface. Bring back Edge Lighting+. Add more Layout Types to Task Changer. Goodlock for One UI Core devices. Voice Recorder: Add the "Zoom-in mic" feature to Voice Recorder. All Samsung apps: Let us uninstall apps that not all users will want: AR Zone, Secure Folder, Tips, Reminders, etc. Add blur elements to more apps. For example, having more blur elements in Samsung Music would be cool. Add an option to disable wi-fi/mobile data on a per-app basis for all apps. DeX:Gestures for DeX. I.e., pinching in on the keyboard on your phone will make the on-screen keyboard a floating keyboard. Add DeX to Galaxy A series of devices. Ultrawide monitor support. Add a screensaver option with no limit on screen off, like on Windows. My files: Let us add favourite folders in network drives in the “Network storage” section. Let us change “network storage working mode” from caching to streaming. Waiting for your phone to cache the video file before you start watching it is not very convenient. Weather: Revamp the Weather app UI so that when you swipe left/right it switches to another city, most weather apps are already this way and it just makes more sense from a UX perspective. Separate the “Weather information” and the “Alerts” into different notification categories. Let us modify defaults based on individual links/file types, instead of having to clear all the defaults of an app. Connections: Add an option to restrict which folder(s) a computer has access to while connected wireless or via a cable. Don’t reset USB connection mode to default when you turn off and on the screen if the device is still connected. Remove region-locking from FM radio. Notifications: Bring back the feature to have Edge lighting on only when the screen is off. When using “icons only”, add an option to show “Details” the first time you see the notification on the lock screen.Galaxy Themes: Let us download the default wallpapers from other Samsung devices. (I.e., the infinity wallpapers from S8/S9, live wallpapers from S10, and video wallpapers from S20/S21). Sounds and vibration: Add an option to make the phone vibrate when turning the volume up/down. Add an option to toggle between sound/vibrate/mute the phone when you press and hold the volume up/down keys simultaneously. Samsung Keyboard: Make it so that Bitmoji sends as a sticker and not an image in apps like WhatsApp. Privacy: Have a notification that notifies when an app is copying/pasting, like how it is in iOS. Add a privacy dot for the location permission. App Transparency: Let us opt-out of tracking for ads. Like how it is in iOS. Add a privacy dashboard which shows when apps used their permissions (I.e., Messages used SMS). Permission Manager: Option to soft deny advanced permissions (Body Sensors, Call Logs, etc) by giving them empty data. Like how it is in MI UI. Option to soft denies normal permissions by giving them empty data. Like how it is in MI UI. Finder: Optimize Finder to be faster, it's quite slow in the settings app. Add Android 12's "On-device search function". Updates: A/B Partition for Samsung devices.Streamlining updates, Samsung should release an update on the same day for all carriers (E.g., all Exynos models on the same day). Why do Canadians and US unlocked phones have to wait 2 weeks after the US locked phones get an update? Small annoyances: Add an option to use the Flashlight and camera when the battery is at 5%. Add an option to get rid of the slide up menus that appear for Wi-Fi/Bluetooth. Icons (Expanding on the “Vivid moving icons” concept): Have more animated icons. For example, the Gallery app should “spin” whenever the user is copying/pasting photos, compressing a video, etc. The camera icon should have an “x” in the corner whenever you’re in a video call, to show that you can’t use the camera. The calendar icon has an exclamation mark over it if you have an important event, rather than the current date. The clock icon should have a second hand that moves every second. Samsung music icon should “dance” when music is being played. Samsung Health icon should be “running” when a workout is currently active. When an app is being downloaded/installed, the app icon should go "grey" and have a progress bar on it, to show this state (Like on iOS). When you close/open an app, the icon should “animate”. Like how it is in Stock Android. Bring adaptive icons to One UI app icons. Add an option for “frameless” app icons. Add different shape options for the app icons. Third-party icon support from Play Store (Without having to use Theme Park). AR Emoji:Add an option to have transparent backgrounds for AR Emoji stickers when sending in apps. Expand support for AR Emoji stickers in third party apps like WhatsApp and Telegram. Other: Carrier Aggregation for all M and F series of devices. Add an option to use Google Assistant instead of Bixby when using a BlueTooth headset. Allow Wi-Fi calling to be turned on even when in Airplane mode. Tab: Add Google Discovery Feed to Tab. Fix Inability to share links to text messages via Messages. Fix inability to select a gif or sticker to send via Messages. Color Pallete: Add different shades for colours, rather than just pastels. Add an AMOLED black background for dark mode. Expand Color Pallet to more Samsung apps like Bixby, Samsung Members, Samsung Music etc. Make Color Pallet more obvious in dark mode. System UI: Bring back the old split-screen functionality from One UI 2.5 Make the status bar colour "adaptive" like the navbar colour. Bring back icons for the context menu: The current implementation just has text, which can make it harder to see the item you want at a glance. Make UI elements easier to reach, some of them are too high up.Make the "Screen lock/unlock" sounds louder, they're too quiet even at max volume. Make System sounds come out of the front-facing speaker as well as the bottom-firing speaker. Make the customized System sound (Calm, Retro, etc). Change the "Screen lock/unlock" sound. Revamp Samsung emojis to look more like the new Microsoft emojis and the iOS emojis. Let us add different options for emoji styles: Microsoft, Twitter, iOS, etc. Individual Dark mode in all apps (For example, how Samsung Music has it). Bring back the “Use Volume Keys for media” option on the stock, and Goodlock volume panels. Bring back the Oxygen saturation measurement. Samsung Health got rid of this feature on phones, it would be awesome if they brought it back. Add different charging animations. For the status bar, show a volume icon which shows the volume level. Add gradual wallpapers that change to a dark theme (like on iOS 13).

Add an air gesture feature which can come in handy when our hands are dirty or wet. For example, if we need to answer a phone call urgently, we can simply hold the back of our hands out in front of the phone and flick it upwards to answer it or when we want to scroll on any of our social feeds, we can just flick out hands up or down to scroll.

Add a feature that does the following: If we are on our phone and someone behind us is glancing on our phone, One UI will notice them and automatically hide the details of the incoming notification so that nothing gets exposed. For example, if we get a WhatsApp notification saying "Hey!" from someone and someone is peeping on our phone, One UI will change the WhatsApp notification to "1 new message" instead of showing the message itself.

Add a feature that allows us to have an outline of anyone's face or any object in the Always On Display. Also allow us to use the entire screen as the Always On Display (instead of only the upper portion of the screen) and customise the position of the clock, AR Emoji, Themes, Stickers, Bitmoji, photos within the entire screen as a canvas for the Always On Display.

Make starting an already open app in pop-up view more intuitive and easy. In One UI 4.1, in order to start an app in pop-up view, you first have to go in the recent apps view, click on the app icon and then click on "Open in pop-up view". An app could be started in pop-up view by, say, swiping the app from the bottom to the top of the screen or a new swipe action could be added in One Hand Operation + to start an app in pop-up view.

Add an option within Settings that allows us to have both "Tap to show" and "Show for new notifications" turned on for Always On Display so that we can tap the screen to turn on the Always On Display at any time and also whenever a new notification comes the Always On Display turns on for a brief period.Screenshot_20220706-232536_AlwaysOnDisplay_22138_1657130197.jpg
