Banking and UPI apps not working in secure folder

Samsung revoked access to messaging and call data in secure folder after oneUI 6 update.

This resulted in banking and UPI apps not able to authenticate and verify registered mobile number being present in phone. Hence preventing them from working inside secure folder.

I had a conversation with samsung support regarding this and I was assured samsung is working on this and will be fixed in future update. I seems samsung has still not done that.

I have not updated to oneUI 6 as both my nos have different accounts linked to them

I am in the same boat , was using all banking applications in secure folder in my previous a series device , because of this feature only upgraded to S24 even after it having an inferior exynos 2400 chip , but not able to use banking applications in secure folder . If samsung doesn't fix this then I think will have to shift to an iphone . These days phones are not mere communication and multimedia devices , they Carry all your financial as well as government id's inside application. Hence safety of mobile os is paramount. If you loose a physical wallet , you only loose the amount inside it , but if you loose your phone your whole financial as well as social identity and life is at risk .

I am also facing the same problem. Samsung do not say whether it will be possible to resolve this issue in shortest possible time. If they can't do it then from security point of view samsung rating would go below phones like OnePlus and motorola who have Safe Vault and Think Shield Secure Folder which provide encryption of these apps with full security. Let Samsung tell about their so called Knox security which they used to claim like one in Apple iPhone. We have to wait for a reply from Samsung on this issue.

Still awaiting for the fix. I upgraded from S21 to S24 and started facing this issue.
It has resulted in major inconvenience for me.

Guys I guess its fixed now. Tried to put icici app in secure folder and it worked. Not sure if I did change something in the setting or what....! Check once

I can't check as i have not updated to oneUI 6. I have both personal and work bank accounts in same phone so secure folder needs to work correctly for me

Can you try to register google pay or phone pe in secure folder...??
