Banking and UPI apps not working in secure folder

Samsung revoked access to messaging and call data in secure folder after oneUI 6 update.

This resulted in banking and UPI apps not able to authenticate and verify registered mobile number being present in phone. Hence preventing them from working inside secure folder.

I had a conversation with samsung support regarding this and I was assured samsung is working on this and will be fixed in future update. I seems samsung has still not done that.

I have not updated to oneUI 6 as both my nos have different accounts linked to them

Hey Samsung, please fix this. I chose your S24 Ultra because I thought it was secure, especially the secure folder. If that's gone, this will be my last Samsung device. Your actions affect loyalty, not just to your smartphones, but to your brand overall. I'm sure many others feel the same way. Update as of June 2024 still not working

But why did Samsung downgrade the secure folder in major ui 6.1 update? Updates always make a device better with more new features along with the important existing ones like the secure folder. It is surprising that no responsible authority from Samsung is coming forward to tell the community about actions on this important issue. We can only hope to hear something from Samsung

Samsung pl listen to the samsung community: urgently fix the problem with secure folder so that banking apps including UPI apps can be saved inside it. If this problem is not addressed on an urgent basis many may switch to other brands. Samsung is preferred due it's security for keeping sensitive app in the Secure folder. Please do do something urgently.

Today got an ui update for my galaxy s23 fe 5g. Strange to note that Samsung has not solved the problem of putting banking and UPI apps inside secure folder. Same old story: sms verification failed message. What for is this update? Not happy at all!!
I don't think now Samsung would be able to rectify this issue with its secure folder anymore in the near future. Customers feel highly disappointed and let down with Samsung. Even outside Secure folder there is no way to put a lock on such apps as is provided in other popular brands like Motorola, OnePlus and almost all brands of Android phones. There is still a chance for Samsung to solve this issue before customers migrate to Iphone or other phones. Even a simple thing like putting a lock on UPI banking app is not possible with a brand like Samsung. How will Samsung compete with Iphone or even OnePlus or other brands??

Samsung please release an update for keeping UPI and banking apps under some external lock or putting them in the existing secure folder without any problem. We are looking forward to such an update from you Samsung! Please do it on an urgentrgent basis.
