Issues adding Citibank Visa credit card on Galaxy watch 6 classic Samsung wallet

I have been facing Issues adding Citibank Visa credit card on Galaxy watch 6 classic Samsung wallet extension. This problem is persistent since almost 2 months now. I enquired with Citibank and got to know that this problem is at Samsung pay/ wallet' s end. 
On checking with Samsung wallet team (over phone) multiple times, it appears that they are incompetent bunch of newcomers with no experience on handling customer queries. Their standard response is either their technical team will call me (this never happens) or there is a new update of the app coming in few days and that would resolve the issue (2 updates have come since then but no resolution yet).
Once they asked for some information on my credit card saying they will connect with Citibank and get my card cleared to upload the same, but I have never received any update on the same despite multiple attempts to check for it.
Please suggest what should be done?

I have the same issue (Citibank Visa card, Galaxy Watch 4). The card works in Samsung Wallet on my phone, but I've been unable to add it to my watch. The registration fails, and I receive an SMS from Citibank that the request to add my card has been declined. From the looks of it, it seems the issue is at the bank's end. I did call them twice. The first time they said everything is fine at their end, so check with Samsung (Samsung never responded when I wrote to them). The second time they said that wearable devices are not enabled for contactless transactions on their end, that's why I'm unable to add it. Don't know what to trust, but for now I've given up trying to get the card to work with my Galaxy Watch.

AGREE WITH BOTH OF U.....I FACED THE SAME PROBLEM AND AFTER CONTACTING CITIBANK MULTIPLE TIMES BY MAIL AND PHONE WAS ABLE TO ADD CITIBANK CARDS BOTH ON MY A73 5G AND GALAXY WATCH 6 LTE VARIANT.............CALLS AND MAILS DID THE TRICK FOR ME ......

Can you write in more detail about whom you contacted in Citibank (what phone number and mail id), and what specifically did you have to ask them to do that finally allowed your card to be added? That will be very helpful and save our time.

The post link you shared, I might consider testing that as a last resort as apparently it'll erase and reset all my existing Samsung Pay data on my phone too, which I don't wish to mess with.

Done that. I have been in touch with Samsung Pay Support team for almost 2 months now but have not received any resolution yet.

Facing same issue with my galaxy watch 6 with citi visa credit card which works fine on Samsung pay on phone but getting but not able to add same on watch.
