I purchased samsung book 3 i7 from samsung store online. It is in pristine condition without a single scratch on it. Yesterday i opened the lid of laptop and its hinge came off. Its not even 6 months and with extreme care i ended up in this situation. I contacted the service center and they told me hinge is broken and doesn't cover under warranty. 
I told them its not my fault the hinge stopped working, they said its broken from from inside.
I mean its absurd , when there is not even a single mark on device you end up paying for the manufacturing defect.
I wish i had gone up to some other brands for laptop because this is awful.

Don't go for samsung books, the service team will say its your fault that device has issues.

Me too facing the same issue. I was using only samsung products since very long. Will no longer buy a samsung product. So delicate and charging us for manufacturing defect.

I am facing the same issue. Within 7 months of usage of galaxy book 3 , the left side hinge is broken. The service center is saying it won't come under warranty. Bad experience from Samsung.

Please while in service center, ensure that service inspector writes down no physical scratch or damage on body. Then you can contact customer care regarding this
