Hi

I had recently connected & initialized samsung health on my mobile earlier, I had been tracking my health data directly from my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Then, it wasnt an issue. But now i Accepted terms and conditions of SHealth on my device, I am getting a notification

"Samsung Health is running to measure your
health data."

I want this background service to be stopped specifically from "shealth" and not the notification to be turned off or restrict it from battery usage, I need this to be turned off from "Shealth".

Kindly help me with steps. Thanks

Click on Samsung Health app for couple of seconds. Then click on "I" icon. It will take you to app settings. At the bottom of screen, you will find 3 options. Select "Force Stop" and it will stop working...

As per your query, we would request you to kindly follow the given steps if you want then you can disable the Samsung health app from the background activities through setting of your device.

Path : 1. Go to Settings > Apps, select the app from the list, and tap App battery usage.
2. Then, tap Force stop to shut it down, or switch off Allow background usage to prevent background activity.
3. To see apps running in the background, go to Settings > System > Developer options > Running services.

Many apps uses the background process to do some background tasks like server sync or syncing with the watch

So they will create a background service to do that

One app can have many services and all of them will run in the background

When I checked my samsung health it is running 2 services

If you stop them and force stop and open the app then they will start the services again

To avoid this completely you can force stop the app. When you force stop the app then until you reopen the app nothing will run in the background. Your steps and sleep will not be detected

If you need steps and sleep detect in samsung health then you need the background process

If you don't want them then you can disallow the alarms and reminder permission this will not allow many services to be started
