I am using S22 ultra and tried to connect dex I am only able to see wireless connection option and it's working fine. What I want is to connect it through wire. I am using HP Probook x360 440 G1 and tried to use USB type A to C and also type C to C. It shows option to transfer files and can access phone's files but I am unable to launch dex I even downloaded the samsung dex app for windows.

You can use Samsung DeX by connecting your smartphone to a computer using a USB cable. To use the USB cable supplied with the device, the computer must have a USB Type-C port. 1 On a computer, visit www.samsung.com/samsung-dex and download the Samsung DeX app. 2 Connect your smartphone to a computer using a USB cable. Apps and features 64 3 On your smartphone’s screen, tap Start now. When they are connected, the Samsung DeX screen will appear on the computer.
