should i activate this
actually they are asking for too many permissions
the +point in using the app is it organises well and integrates with my samsung

i was singing in my Microsoft id
and samsung mail was asking this

You can trust Microsoft and samsung. But if another person has your credentials (safe hands- normally administrator at workplaces) or you downloaded a mail app from a third party, then it is not. It is advisable to enable two factor authentication and don't sideload apps.

Most likely you are trying to configure office email that's why so many permission are being asked and it's perfectly fine. You can activate it

These permissions are asked by your employer so that you don't steal office data after activating these permissions
