OthersHowever on the other hand, J5 prime SM-G570F was released with android 6.0.1 and received 2 major updates and the latest is 8.0. So it's no longer eligible for OS updates.
Best regards,
Alves.

OthersI'll put it simple for you. Every device comes with an OS of Android 5 or 6 or 7 or something. Each device gets 2 OS updates when company rolls out each time. Your model released in a year 2016 with Android 6.0.1 and latest is Android 8.0. You're already given 2 major updates. Hence, there'll be no more updates.
However you can force install Android 9.0 through custom rom is not advisable.
Best Regards ,
Alves.
