Few months ago we have brought Samsung E50A for our Company Sanjay Metal India, The Tv give some issues when we connect with our laptop it show a display problem and HDMI plug is not proper attach.
Try contacting the customer care they will guide you the best. Otherwise try resetting the TV. I have never faced any issue connecting my laptop to tv through HDMI.
