Based on various region consumers queries and interest over OS update in Samsung smartphones. I personally discussed this matter with technical team of Samsung in two various occasions in last 3 months . Its not email communication or feedback communication.
While attending launch event and some other event of Samsung Global
I asked and heared their words regarding OS updates or similar
I assure the way Samsung do deliver the updates will do change in forthcoming era .
There are some hurdles with samsung due to Google policy and as Samsung has a different update policy due to they follow carrier based update as well as normal regular and unlocked updates
So it seems late update
There are some new mechanisms which will be implemented by google for their owned product ANDROID e.g. treble project etc , so in future Samsung going to lay down some serious changes
Anyways for now I can not say more on this
But we can hope it will take not so long time
N.B. if you love Samsung and you are a person who visit their events global or regional , do not forget to talk with their official personals , coz this always helps to convey consumers needs directly to concerned team and dept , and this way the matters goes to serious review on Samsung platform
Request samsung to provide latest 9.0 pie to samsung j7prime also. Otherwise people may be forced to purchase a new phone to the best services of pie update
