I recently bought Samsung Galaxy Book 5 pro. This laptop is connected to my Samsung M8 Monitor via HDMI. On the other hand my office Dell laptop is also connected to the monitor via USB Type C. Monitor is the only display screen I use while both the laptops are closed and placed in a shelf.
I see that Samsung gives an option for the laptop to boot automatically if the lid is opened. It also does that if the power is supplied to the laptop (provided the lid is already open). As I mentioned this laptop is in a shelf and is closed as all times. Now every time I want to boot the laptop, I have to pull it out of the shelf and open the lid which makes it difficult given the HDMI and power cables are connected.
Can Samsung provide an option to boot the laptop if I switch on the power supply for the laptop without opening the lid?
