My GalaxyI am writing to bring to your attention a display issue I encountered on my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which I purchased two years ago. My device is in excellent condition, but yesterday, a vertical green line suddenly appeared on the display, following a recent software update.
After researching the problem, I discovered that several Samsung users are experiencing similar issues, with many attributing it to recent software updates. To address the issue, I visited the Samsung service center today (6th October 2024), where I was informed that the display replacement policy expired on 30th September 2024. As a result, I was advised to either pay ₹13,000-14,000 for a display replacement or wait for a possible future policy that has not yet been confirmed.
I have also contacted customer support via phone, and they reiterated the same information, offering no alternative solution. I have tried all the basic troubleshooting steps, including restarting the phone and performing a factory reset, but the issue persists.
Given that this problem seems to be related to a software update and affects multiple users, I believe this should be addressed by Samsung as part of its commitment to customer satisfaction. As a loyal Samsung customer, I would appreciate your guidance on how to proceed in resolving this issue without incurring such a significant expense.
I would be grateful if you could escalate this matter and provide a timely solution.

My GalaxyAs requested, I have visited the Samsung service center, and please find attached the job sheet for acknowledgment. The service engineer has inspected the device, and based on my observations and the issues discussed, I believe the problem stems from a software/hardware defect originating from Samsung's end.
I kindly request that you proceed with providing an appropriate solution, ensuring that the issue is resolved without additional costs, given that this seems to be a manufacturer defect. I trust Samsung will address this promptly, as other leading brands have covered similar defects under warranty.
Looking forward to your swift resolution and continued support.

My GalaxyI'm experiencing the same issue. I went to the customer service center, but they simply rejected my request, saying they wouldn’t replace the screen if there was even a small scratch. It’s clear the problem didn’t happen because of a scratch or dent—it seems to be a screen defect. Samsung should consider offering free replacements for loyal customers facing this issue.
