After recent update Edge Screen is draining battery.... don't know how to resolve.... as of now turned off edge panel and edge lighting.. but I want to turn them on. 
Anybody help me y edge screen draining so much battery.

Right brother one ui not properly optimized for battery issue drain very fast even snapdragon and exynos processors also may be wait for update

every update comes with this type of **bleep**...i also have faced this kind of problem while one ui 2.1 updated.

Wait for a while. After new updates battery will drain fast for some days then it will stop draining fast.

may you simply updated it via mobile data or wifi...where it needed to be flashed by Odin or through samsung service center or install software via smart switch...software loop hole doing this...none of the procedure will work until you reflash the same firmware from Samsung service center... simply update any big os or new ui interface via mobile data or wifi is not process where samsung provides non A/B partition type Ota software not like other companies
