hello I bought the samsung s23 ultra
1 month ago and the
phone does not offer me a software update and even when I go through the settings
and update I am offered none.
Who was like me please? How do you
had done?I have already contacted
Samsung, they told me as soon
as I buy a phone, they do not directly
offer the software update but it
takes 1 month.
I don't think it's normal, I thought
there was a glitch on the phone.
Thanks to those who will answer me.
I have to specify I have Android
version 13 and One UI version 5.1

Was the phone bought locally or overseas?

I bought the phone on a site and the supplier and in France and when I called Samsung and explained the problem he asked me for my IMEI number and he told me the phone and EU and that there was no problem for the update day I had to wait but it's been 1 month.

If I understand you correctly, you're saying that the phone is from a different country than the one you are currently in?

You can go to https://www.samfw.com and manually update the phone. Just make sure you back up everything incase the phone needs to be formatted.

If it was not bought locally, it's likely that there will be no software update over the air. In order to get any new software update, you may need to flash manually the latest software.

but how do I flash it manually? I called Samsung this morning it was said it depends on the operator and as I am on Reunion Island to get the update I admit I am lost I will call directly with the merchant that I bought the smartphone

It requires a flashing software called odin. If there is a samsung service center where you are, you can ask them to flash your phone to the latest software. Hope it helps.
