I've sent an error report on the battery drain. You should do the same. I believe a public outcry is on the way, unless the September patch fixes what's broken.
They wont fix anything about battery life.. its always the same thing after an update..when 1 first bought my phone it would last for at least 2 days and am a heavy user. After each update battery life would decrease. Since this last update my battery wont last for 12 hours.
I wiped the cache yesterday afternoon, charged to full last light and put it in light mode and it only took 2% after 6-7 hours sleep. I was running the day with ~ 80% and it's on 28% back on performance mode. Unfortunately I haven't monitored the phone enough to see if it's behaving or not.
I'll check it tomorrow and see if it's back to normal or not
