Guys i bought s20 plus and m having problem in redeem for buds from samsumg shop the otp is been receiving in another number not the actual one on which my phone was activated. Does anyone know what to do?

i have tried to do the same otp was receiving for me too but after that it states an error that this offer is only for s20 and plus and ultra users

same error for me as well. I have tried many times and tried swapping SIMs too but end result is always this message

have you called customer care regarding that i have called and my ticket is raised for that and also i have mailed at support.estore@samsung.com with all my issue with screenshot it really helps the support is good

@Dave1 @ChinmayJoshi guys dont use the second sim in the phone at all till you redeem these buds...

I suggest you remove samsung shop and start again...use only the pre order sim in slot 1.

if nothing works you can try a hard reset and start again with only 1 sim (pre booking sim).

login into the Samsung shop with your Samsung account credentials only...

i did redeem the buds last year as well as they were for 2999 with S10 it was much easier then as it worked in the first attempt. This time way too much drama...

hard reset how to do that i mean its just a normal reset or its different cause i think during the time of activation both my number were inserted it was in proper slot but i guess second number got activated first

i am having only single sim in my phone and also i don't have alternate number so using dual sim doesn't make redemption fail so don't need to reset your phone it ll be fixed by tonight or tomorrow morning ASAP by samsung i ve enquired about this in samsung care

So i pre-ordered a galaxy s20+ and bought it some days ago,even after 72 hours of my sim no (which I used for prebooking) inserted in slot no 1, I was unable to redeem my galaxy buds+ from the Samsung shop. It it sending the message to my secondary sim card no and afterwards saying that i am not eligible for this offer.

i am getting the same error this one in photo so i have contacted support and mailed it to them regarding the issue and also i have contacted samsung store from where i have prebook my phone they said they are looking into it but i think you will get better service online from support i habe receiver two mails from them and said the issie will be solved within 24 hours

@Dave1 @Ritib guys this is where you went wrong...phone should always be activated with just 1 sim till your redemption offers are completed...i also use 2 sim cards in my Samsung phones but since last year i have always just kept 1 sim till my buds are redeemed....

anyways a hard reset would be the resore to factory defaults option where you will lose all your data so run a backup and maybe try a hatd reset....or else keep your fingers crossed & wait for Samsung to come up with a solution for you....
