Hi all recently i gave a try for esim for my primary jio number. I did all process and activated. After activation, esim works as sim 2 and not as sim one. Anybody can help how to move from second sim to first sim? Or by default esim will activate on sim 2 only? Share ur thoughts.

You can't use eSIM as sim card one, as the device prefers the main sim card slot as sim slot 1. eSIM is an optional feature. If you want then you can use your secondary sim as an eSIM instead of using a physical sim card in sim slot 2

Yes, it does. As you can see the sim 1 is inactive. And sim 2 is esim. And also for the bank apps, for example, yono sbi, it asks to put the sim in sim 1 or chose as main network, I'm not sure of it, I'm unable to recollect now. If you use yono, then I suggest you use yono lite app in order for verification through mobile number. Yono sbi app isn't reading esim for verification and prompts insert sim or no sim detected. Esim is the physical sim 2. But you can add another esim.Screenshot_20230601_082646_Call settings.jpg
