I am a user of the Samsung Galaxy S23 5G mobile. Five days ago, I installed a software update issued by Samsung. After that, while using my mobile, a green line appeared on my phone screen.

When I checked about the issue, I found that many Samsung mobile devices have the same problem. I've seen that Samsung officially announced free screen replacements for green line issues on some series users only. So, I went to the service center for a replacement. However, they said the screen needs to be replaced, and it costs around ₹15,000.

I asked for the free replacement, but they mentioned that it isn't applicable for the S23 model phones.

I hereby raise a complaint to the official Samsung customer care, claiming that they should provide a free replacement for other model users also. As I got this issue without any self-damage, it is the responsibility of the respective community to consider this.

If a free replacement is applicable for other models, then it should be provided for the S23 model also.

Hence, I sincerely request the concerned authority to look into my concern and take the necessary action. Thank you.

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer support through Samsung Members App as error report also send log files Along with this error report for this issue. Then go to service center for replace/repair it's. If you like please accept as a solution it's help to others users also, click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.

Samsung seems to have rolled out a policy for S22 and I had got the display replaced today free of cost(had to pay labour charges). Kindly check with them mentioning the same.
