Why is there a need of two message apps which is unnecessary?

Why is there a need for two messaging applications, one by Samsung and one by Google, neither of which can be uninstalled?

I disabled google message u can do it too.. i like samsung message app

But you can get rcs features only in google messages

Because of Googles android as none of preloaded applications of Google you can't delete

Rich communication service...it's similar to how use WhatsApp...reactions, read receipts, message reply etc which soon apple phones will be adopting
