Subject: Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Water Damage Issue Despite IP68 Rating

Dear Samsung India Customer Care,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and concern regarding the water damage to my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. I purchased this phone with the expectation that it would be protected against water intrusion due to its IP68 rating. However, the phone has suffered internal damage, and water has seeped in despite no apparent external exposure to water.

I have visited a Samsung service center, but unfortunately, the technicians there were unable to provide a solution or address the issue. They informed me that they cannot assist with the repair.

I am truly baffled as to how water damage could occur to a phone with an IP68 rating. This rating signifies that the device should be protected against immersion in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes.

I kindly request Samsung India to investigate this matter thoroughly and provide a resolution to my problem. I believe that it is essential to address this issue to ensure the reliability and durability of your product. Jis phone I buy for my brother because I love every series so I buy again but this will be happen and ever thought my exyon 

version is okay but the Snapdragon I don't know happening wrong

Ip 68 is a marketing technique bro, samsung's warranty doesn't cover water damage.

Irony- Phone is ip68 rated. But samsung does not accept water damage under warranty.
This proves that samsung itself is not confident in its ip68 ratings and its just a marketing gimmick.

One should always protect their phones from moisturizer and water damage. 💧
