Can anyone tell how to enable screen wake-up after a notification appears like the default messaging app. For some reason there's no support for third party apps. Can someone help me in this?

That's exactly my problem

And That's why I hate android and love IOS

It's just better!

God please give me money to buy an iPhone 🙏

This would be a Samsung problem, not an Android problem.

Even I am searching for it. As far as I know there are two options.

1. Install glimpse app it works good even for WhatsApp.

2. If you don't want to use 3rd party apps. Go to settings -> notification, select brief pop style, all apps must be included and in brief pop up settings turn on *show when while screen is off, and select your edge lightning style.

Now if you get a message in WhatsApp even if screen is off a brief style notification shows up with edge lightning in always on display. The disadvantage is the notification is not detailed style and basically we can see the message but to reply we have to press the power button or double tap or fingerprint.
